A stock/fund that is in my portfolio is now displaying with the price details as n/a - why is this?
There could be a number of reasons why this would occur but ultimately it is because there is no data behind the feed for example when a stock has altered its name or ticker symbol then the price details would display as n/a.

What do the Bid and the Ask refer to within the portfolio?

It show the total value of your assets and the profit you have made on them. The total for your debts and your overall position.
