Gilts are priced slightly differently from other investments within the portfolio and therefore when you enter the price and unit information you will need to follow these guidelines. Gilts are priced in pounds (for the bid, ask and price) and this price is a reflection of a "batch" of gilts which are usually 100 standard units.

If when you enter a gilt into your portfolio, therefore, and the value is too large - click onto the "edit" link by the side of the Gilt and amend the details you entered. Firstly try amending the number of units owned. If you continue to have problems however select the "portfolio" option from within Online Support to contact customer services. Please include as much information you have regarding the gilt - including title, purchase price and the number of units owned.
