In order to transfer stock that you hold as paper certificates into your Interactive Investor Share Dealing account, you will need to complete a CREST transfer form.

Log into your Share dealing account and select 'Manage My Account' and then 'Transfer Forms', print out the Crest Transfer form, complete it, sign it and send it back to us, together with your share certificate.

One form needs to be completed for each stock that you wish to transfer.

Please note, the stock you wish to transfer must be solely in your name - if not, you will need to re-register the ownership before submitting it - and it must be a CREST eligible UK stock. The transfer process will take approximately five working days from the moment your certificates are received, as the shares will need to be transferred into a nominee account. You will not be able to trade these stocks until the full transfer has taken place.
