Interactive Investor Quotestream is a Java application and will run in the following configurations:-

Intel PCs
Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP or Vista
Web Browser: IE6+ or Firefox 1.5+
Java VM: Sun Microsystems Java Software - validate your install and get updates here

Apple Macs
Operating System: OSX
Web Browser: Firefox 1.5+ or Safari
Java VM: Sun Microsystems Java Software - validate your install and get updates here

Further recommendations:-

  • The service should ideally be accessed over a broadband connection or better due to the potential volume of market data being received.
  • Your computer should have at least 512Mb of RAM
  • For optimal performance you should close all other unecessary applications before launching Quotestream

If the Quotestream desktop fails to launch or windows within the application do not display properly we would ask you close down all browser windows and retry before reporting your problem to our contact centre.
