A Regular Trade is one that you set up to occur on a regular basis, typically monthly. For share trades we call it our Portfolio Builder service. For Funds trades it is our Funds Builder product.

You can do this through your Investment, ISA or SIPP account by setting up an investment plan - for either Funds or for Shares

All trades placed this way are aggregated for dealing on the relevant day.

Share trades benefit from a low £1.50 dealing charge rather than the £10 real-time UK trade commission. As a special offer our Portfolio Builder dealing charge is FREE until 30th June 2010.

For share dealing: you should note that this is not a real-time trade and so would not be suitable if you want to control the price yourself. However, it may be suitable for investors trading in a smaller size where the commission costs might be significant, or for investors who are looking to build up a holding in a share or investment trust through regular savings.
