There are a number of different ways of investing in unit trusts and OEICs.
You can invest through tax efficient accounts such as ISAs or you can invest directly in any chosen fund. With Interactive Investor you can do both through either an Interactive Investor ISA, Interactive Investor PEP, Interactive Investor SIPP or Interactive Investor Unwrapped (Investment) Account.
You can also choose to invest in a pooled nominee account or you can be the person named on the unit trust or OEIC register. (see following question for more information on what is a pooled nominee account).
Interactive Investor offers a pooled nominee account as it makes administration a lot easier, is more suitable to online trading and reduces the cots of investing.
