The email newsletters that we send out are sent in one of two formats: HTML or Plain Text. HTML newsletters utilise design features associated with web pages (such as images) while plain text emails, as the name suggests, only contain text. Some email systems do not allow HTML and others will try to log you onto the Internet when you receive them. If this occurs or if you see the following message: "If you can read this message, we have sent this email to you in the wrong format" you will want to change the format to plain text.

If you have your username and password you can make this change by using the My Account link in the top navigation bar. Next click onto "Site profile" and then select the Email details tab. Change the format type in the drop down as required. To complete the process scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the button which reads "Update Profile"

If you don't have your username and password then please use the forgotten password reset in order to gain access to your profile (you will need to have your username and the email address which you registered with).
