You can monitor the performance of a particular unit trust or OEIC
through most national newspapers or by using internet services such
Interactive Investor's online portfolio service.
Fund providers send out statements once or twice a year to
investors giving the value of their investment in the fund. You will
also receive manager's reports at least twice a year. These detail what
has happened to the fund, changes in the strategy and investments held
in the portfolio as well as an overview of the market. For funds which
pay an income, investors will be paid on fixed days in the year. A
statement detailing the amount and the transaction will be sent to you.
